"Jack" Walker, 76, were held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 9, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel. The Rev. Crawford Williams, pastor of Ingleside Baptist Church officiated. Burial was at Forest Park West, Meriwether Road in Shreveport. He died at 11:40 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 1983, at his residence, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Walker, a native of Pollock, Texas, and a resident of Noble for the past 15 years, was a Baptist. He was formerly with Louisiana State Police, and a member of Queensboro Masonic Lodge No. 418 F and AM. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace J. Walker of Noble; one daughter, Dorothy Lyons of Pointe Ala Hache, La.; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robbie Oliver, George Brown, A. A. Howard Jr., Walter Ford, J. P. Reairs, and Ray Young.
