Salter Walker

  Services for Mr. Salter Walker, 70, of Belmont, were conducted
at Beulah Baptist Church, on Oct. 27, 1985, at 2 p.m. Bro.
Marshall Ingle, and Bro. Elsie Walker officiated. Interment was
in Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Walker died on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 12:10 a.m., in
Shreveport, La.

  Surviving relatives include three brothers, Mr. Leon Walker of
Kirbyville, Tex.; Mr. Hoy Walker of Many, and Mr. J. C. Walker of
Zwolle; three sisters, Mrs. Ninnie Brumley of Eudora, Ark.,; Mrs.
Berdie Barnhill of Shreveport, and Mrs. Helen Salley of Belmont;
a host of nieces and nephews.
