  Willie J. Walker - November 15, 1973

  Willie Jefferson Walker, 60, of Natchitoches died Friday in
Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Hickory Grove
Congregational Methodist Church in Robeline with the rev. Wilbur
Birdwell officiating. Burial was in Shamrock Cemetery under
direction of St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches.

  Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Julia Cutright
Walker of Robeline; a son, W. J. Walker of Many; five daughters,
Mrs. Louise Dowden and Mrs. Doria Winberg, both of Natchitoches,
Mrs. Dottie Quin of Pineville, Mrs. Marice Webb of Stonewall, and
Mrs. Barbara Lindsey of Tyler, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Clara
Whitley of New Orleans, Mrs. Mable Clanton of Many, four
brothers, Jewell Walker, Fred Walker, Eugene Walker and J. D.
Walker all of Robeline, 12 grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
