Mr. Y. C. Walker

  Funeral services for Mr. Y. C. Walker, 85, were held at 3 p.m.,
December 30, at Siloam Baptist Church. Interment followed in
Siloam Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home. Bro. E. E. Walker, and Bro. Steve Spears officiated.

  Mr. Walker died at 7:30 a.m., December 29, at Sabine Medical
Center.

  He is survived by his wife, Nettie Walker of Many; two sons,
Bro. E. E. Walker of Many, and Reece Walker of Walkerville; four
daughters, Loree Maxey of Walkerville, Marie Branon of Pineville,
Christine Tarpley, and Lanelle Brumley, both of Walkerville; two
sisters, Bertie McLendon, also of Walkerville, and Aline Alford
of Many; one brother, Harry Walker of Many; nineteen
grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers included Tyrone Maxey, Elwyn, Karl, Randy, Steve,
and Klifford Walker, Mike, and David Branton, Darrell, and
Jeffery Tarpley, and Jay Brumley.
