Dick Paige, the officiating minister. Burial was in the Wilder Cemetery in Ruston, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Walker died Tuesday, December 24, 1991, at Jefferson Davis Hospital in Natchez, Mississippi, after a short illness. Mrs. Walker was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Ruston, and a former member of Barnett Springs Baptist Church in Ruston. She was a native of Union Community in Bienville Parish. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm on the Grambling Rd. in Ruston for many years. She was preceded in death by her son, Bob Walker; and her daughter, Aline Walker; and husband, Leo Walker. She is survived by her three daughters, Helen Walker Grace of Newellton, Dorothy Eaves of Charlotta, and Mary W. Abington of Many; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her grandsons served as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church Building Fund in Ruston.
