Fred Walker

  Funeral services for Fred Walker, age 72, of Many, were held at
1 p.m., on Thursday, June 4, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

  Herschel Freeman officiated. Burial was in the Cedar Grove
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Walker died on Tuesday, June 2, at North Sabine Nursing Home
in Pleasant Hill, La.

  He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Walker of Many; one sister,
Clara Gibson of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; one brother, J. O. Walker
of Pleasant Hill, La.; one sister, Mable Clanton; four brothers,
Edward Moran, Willie Walker, Eugene Walker, and Jewule Walker.
Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and
Julia Walker.

  Visitation for Mr. Walker was held at the Cedar Grove Baptist
Church on Wednesday, after 3:30 p.m.
