All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - August 10, 1988 Mrs. Errie Mae Grantham Walker Mrs. Errie Mae Grantham Walker, 93, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Tx. on Saturday, July 30, 1988 of a lengthy illness. Mrs. Walker had been living in Port Neches, Tx. for 2 years and was a resident of Belmont most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church. Services were held at Union Baptist Church in Belmont on Monday, Aug. 1 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Charles Hunt and Rev. John Garrett officiating. Burial was at Belmont Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield. Survivors include one daughter, Iva Jones of Port Neches, Tx.; one son, James Walker of Nederland, Tx.; two sisters, Sarah O. Wilson of Many and Agnes Harkins of Okla; three brothers, Robert Grantham of Shreveport, Johnny Grantham of Slagle, La. and Marlen Grantham of Nederland, Tx.; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
