Funeral services were held in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel, at 2 p.m., Friday, October 26, with the Rev. E. E. Walker officiating. Burial followed in the Beulah Cemetery in Sabine Parish. Survivors include his parents, Benny and Joy Walker of Milam; two brothers, Benny Scott "Scotty" Walker and wife Linda, and Anthony Brent "Tony" Walker and wife Cherokee, all of Many; two nephews; and two nieces; maternal grandmother, Malva Horn of Moss Bluff; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J. C. Walker, and Doris Byrd of Hemphill; and maternal grandfather, Clifton Horn of Many. Jason was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed many hours fishing with his friends on Toledo Lake. Pallbearers were his friends, Rodney Heller, Bob Clausen, Phillip "Red" Wiseman, Troy Karback, Mark Daniels, Tom Fisher, Honorary pallbearers were Terry Riley, and Larry Plummer.
