Mrs. Leetha Walker

  Mrs. Leetha Walker, 87, of Many, died Thursday, April 20, in the
local nursing home, after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were conducted at Siloam Baptist Church, with
the Rev. Willis Greer officiating, Saturday, April 22. Interment
was in the Siloam Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include four sons, Y. C. Walker, Norman Walker, Harry
Walker, and Alvin Walker, all of Many; two stepsons, Genie Walker
of Many, and Corley Walker of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs.
Bertie McLendon, Mrs. Aline Alford, and Miss Nettie Stroud, all
of Many; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Guy Sibley, and Mrs. J. T. Dees,
both of Many; 23 grandchildren; and 42 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Odis McClendon, Elsie Walker, Rodney Walker,
Walker R. Alford, Kenneth Walker, and Larry Alford.
