John Corley Walker

  John Corley Walker, 85, of Many, died Jan. 29, after an extended
illness.

  Surviving relatives include five brothers, C. E., Y. C., Norman,
Harry, and Alvin Walker, all of Many; sisters, Mamie Sibley, Mrs.
Iva Dees, Mrs. Aliene Alford, and Mrs. Bertie McClendon, all of
Many.

  Funeral services were held in the Spring Ridge Baptist Church,
Jan. 30, with the Rev. Perry Lassiter officiating. Burial, with
Masonic Rites at the graveside, were held in Spring Ridge
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of
Many. Pallbearers were Walker R. Alford, Steve Alford, Dees Cox,
E. E. Walker, Kenneth Walker, and Rodney Walker.
