Green Walker

  Last rites for Green Walker, age 73, who died April 10, was
conducted at Little Flock Baptist Church, at 10 a.m., April 12,
with Rev. Versie Miller, Rev. Earl Warren, and Rev. Jenkins
officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Henry Walker, Teddy Byrd, Jesse Lee Byrd Jr.
Ivie Walker, Dr. Jimmie Walker, and Richard Byrd.

  Honorary pallbearers were Pat Wright, Arthur Cook, T. M.
Phillips, Wade Barr, Ernest Speight, Ralph Vines, and Ponder
Salter.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Green Walker; son, J. B. Walker,
both of Many; daughters, Mrs. Mattie Byrd of Pineville, Mrs.
Henry Savell of Many; brothers, Johnnie of Purvis, Texas, Arthur
of DeRidder, Claude of Rosepine, Alma of U. S. Army; sisters,
Mrs. Mary Ray, and Miss Joy Walker, both of Port Arthur, Texas;
16 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
