E. E. Weldon

  E. E. Weldon, 75, of Florien, died at 7:20 a.m. Sunday, May 17, after a short illness.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ora Weldon of Florien; three daughters, Mrs. Faye Floyd
of Pineville, Mrs. Etna Casula of Laurel, Md.; and Mrs. Jinny Edwards of Leesville; 18
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

  Mr. Weldon had another daughter, Mrs. Doris Jessup, deceased.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church,
with the Rev. J. C. Edwards and the Rev. Avon Kavanaugh officiating. The body was taken to
the church at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, to lie in state until service time. Burial was in Mt.
Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were Mr. Weldons grandsons.
