All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Dewey Weldon Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m., in the Warren Baptist Church for Dewey Weldon, 68, of Many, who died after a short illness. Officiating at the services were the Rev. Johnny Rhodes, and the Rev. Travis McCollough, with interment in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Billie Lou Luster, Many, and Mrs. Edward Lahr of Arlington, Va.; two brothers, Andrew Weldon of Florien, and A. G. Weldon of Shreveport; and one sister, Mrs. Millie Snell of Houston; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were W. E. Leach, Talmadge Westbook, J. H. Snell, Fred Isgitt, J. E. Dees, and William Max Leach.
