Mrs. Gertrude Walden

  Mrs. Gertrude Walden, 66, died in Houston, Tex. Friday, Apr 2, after
an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Apr. 6, in the Mt. Zion Baptist
Church, with the Rev. H. H. Tibbits, and the Rev. Robert C. Martin
officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Lonnie Chambers, S. L. Campbell, Leslie Rains, Truett
Walden, Fred Dew, and Morris Adair.

  Surviving relatives are her husband, Clifton Walden of Houston; one
daughter, Mrs. Marie Urick of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Floyd
of Zwolle; two brothers, O. W. Pruitt, Zwolle, and I. J. Pruitt of
Houston, and one grandchild.
