Survivors included his widow, Mrs. Ray Weldon of Florien; five sons, Jack Katzman, George Katzman, and Lynn Weldon, all of Florien, Phillip Weldon of Houston, Tex., and Winfred Weldon of Shreveport; a daughter, Gwen Koss of Many; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Casula of Laurel, Md., Mrs. Marcus Floyd of Pineville, and Mrs. Bruce Edwards of Leesville, and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Florien First Baptist Church on Monday, April 28, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Mack Brister, and the Rev. John Wakefield officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Weldon was employed by Vancouver Plywood Co., Inc. in Florien, in the Timber Dept.
