Albert Walden

  Albert Walden, 77, of Many, died in Many on Monday, Oct. 13, at
10:10 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Walden is survived by his widow, Mrs. Odie Walden of Many; a
son, Truett Walden of Many; a daughter, Mrs. Martin J. Salisbury
of Shreveport; three brothers, C. T. Walden, Many, A. G. Walden
of Zwolle, and Otis Walden of Grand Cane; two sisters, Mrs. Selma
Tatum of Shreveport, and Mrs. Minnie Dew of Many; 5
grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Many First Baptist Church on
Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Rod Smith officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Lonnie Chambers, Wiley Cummings, Bob Beard,
Mike Lockwood, Fred Dew, Hubert Ross.
