The Sabine Index - Mrs. Nettie Walden

  6 May 1949 - Last rites for Mrs. Nettie Walden, 63, of Mt.
Freedom community who passed away at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. J. H. Harris in Converse, were conducted at Mt. Zion Baptist
church 2 p.m. Saturday by Rev. W. M. Greer, pastor Calvary
Baptist church, Many, and Rev. Jerry Schmucker, pastor Converse
Baptist church. Interment followed under direction Massingill
funeral home.

  Pallbearers were: Thomas Patton, D. L. Patton, Zack Brumley,
George Kenneth and David McDonald.

  Deceased, relict of the late Dave Walden, is survived
by relatives as follows: sons, Cody and DeVance Walden of
Shreveport; daughters, Mrs. W. H. DeKeyzer, Port Arthur, Texas,
Mrs. J. H. Harris, Converse; Mrs. F. I. Wright, Many; 20
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
