The Sabine Index - A. J. Weldon

  17 Jun 1949 - Last rites for A. J. Weldon, 72, who passed
away at his home near Florien Friday of last week were conducted
at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Carmel Baptist church by Revs. A. D.
Ashby and J. H. Ricks. Interment followed under direction
Massingill funeral home.

  Mr. Weldon is survived by sons, Barnie and Milton of Florien
and Ira of Lake Charles; daughters, Mrs. Minnie Smith, Leesville,
Mrs. Bertha Taylor, Shreveport, Mrs. Nora Weldon and Mrs. Vernie
Thaxton, both of Florien; 28 grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
