Zion Baptist church by Rev. Otis Hampton and assisted by Revs. C. G. Pearce and W. J. Ross. Interment was under the direction of Warren funeral home. She was born in Claiborne parish on Oct. 8, 1879, but has spent most of her life in Sabine Parish. Pallbearers were Earl Lites, Truitt Walden, Fred Dew, J. D. Walden, John D. Scott, Jr., and Joe Donald Walden. Surviving relatives include: sons, Jim Walden, Shreveport, Albert, Celers and Otis Walden of Many, Clifton Walden, Houston, Texas and A. G. Walden, Zwolle; daughters, Mrs. Minnie Dew, Toro, Mrs. Selma Lites, Many, Mrs. Velda Turner, Little Rock, Ark.; brothers, Will Mart Brumley, Houston, Texas; Jim Tom Brumley, Shreveport, Henry Brumley, Carthage, Texas; sister, Mrs. Alice Rains, Shreveport; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
