Hall Peyton, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church in Mansfield, officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, in Mansfield, with eastern Star graveside rites. Mrs. Walden died Saturday, at Schumpert Medical Center. A native of Zwolle, Mrs. Walden had lived in Shreveport about one year. She had lived in Converse for more than 60 years. She was a member of the Converse First Baptist Church, and the Eastern Star. Survivors include step daughters Paula Burnett of Converse, and Connie W. Lecza of Baton Rouge, and sisters, Thelma Etheredge of Shreveport, and Helen O'Brien of Erie, Pa. Arrangements are under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield.
