Wesley Walden

  Wesley Otis Walden, 67, of Grand Cane, died Tuesday, May 29, in
a Mansfield hospital, after a long illness.

  Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 31, in Mt. Zion
Baptist Church near Many, with the Rev. H. E. Hampton, and the
Rev. Otho Greer officiating. Burial followed in the church
cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow, Ida Greer Walden of Grand Cane; one
son, Joe Walden of Sieper; two brothers, A. G. Walden of Zwolle,
and C. T. Walden of Many; one sister, Selma Tatum of Shreveport;
eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
