Amos G. Weldon

  Mr. Amos G. Weldon of Florien, died Fri., Dec. 17, 1982, at 8
a.m., in Shreveport. He was 52 years old. Mr. Weldon succumbed
after an extended illness.

  Funeral services for Mr. Weldon were held Sunday, Dec. 19, at 10
a.m., at Peason Pentecost Church, with interment held at Mt.
Carmel Cemetery. Rev. Ken Busnell officiated. Services were under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives include one son, Robert Glen Weldon, San
Jose, Calif.; three daughters, Kathy King, Caddo Mills, Tx.,
Cindy Doxey, Joyce Langley, both of Bossier City; his mother, Ida
Weldon of Florien; two sisters, Sylvia Walker, Sulphur Springs,
Tx., Ruth Goins, Logansport; and six grandchildren.
