Andrew Jackson Weldon

  Funeral services for Mr. Andrew Jackson Weldon of Florien, were
held Sunday, March 18, at 3 p.m., in the Mt. Carmel Baptist
Church. Rev. Larry DeLouch officiated. Burial was in the Mt.
Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Weldon died Saturday, March 17, 1984, at his residence in
Florien, at the age of 75.

  He is survived by two sons, Andrew (Bud) Weldon of Jennings,
La., and Swepson Weldon of Keithville; two daughters, Geneva
Cobb, Keithville, and Genevieve Stewart, Porter, Texas; two
sisters, Ollie Merritt, Gibsland, and Barbara Caswell, Anacoco;
11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
