T.) Walden, 79, of Many, died in Shreveport at 12:25 p.m., Saturday, March 16, after an extended illness. Funeral services for Mr. Walden were held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 18, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Bro. Efton Martin officiated. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Walden was a former member, and past president of the Sabine Parish Police Jury during the construction of the new courthouse and library. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Ray Walden of Many; two daughters, Mrs. June Louise Foshee of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Billie Jean Scott of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Mary Selma Lites Tatum of Shreveport; five grandsons; and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Lites, John Scott II, Larry Scott, Ronnie Scott, Breck Scott, and Bruce Champion, Jr.
