Mrs. Odie Ross Walden

  Services for Mrs. Odie Ross Walden, 91, were held at 10 a.m.,
Wednesday, July 31, at the First Baptist Church of Many.
Officiating was Rev. Joe Ratcliff, and Rev. Stan McGee. Burial
was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Walden died Monday, July 29, at Highland Hospital in
Shreveport. She was a LPN for 35 years, for Dr. Fraser, and a
retired storeowner.

  Survivors include one daughter, Hazel Walden Salisbury of
Stonewall; two sisters, Louvina Ritter of Many, and Mae Ross
Chase of Zwolle; four grandchildren, Robin Basinger, and Susan
Walden of Shreveport, Tom Walden of Fountain Valley, Calif., and
Martin Salisbury of Dallas, Texas; 11 great grandchildren; and a
host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Gordon Hinton, Ras Ritter Jr., Donald Ross,
Martin Salisbury, Tom Walden, and Bob Beard.
