Green N. Weldon

  Last rites for Green N. Weldon, age 88, who died April 27, were
conducted at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, at 2:30 p.m., April 28,
with Rev. J. I., Funderburk, and Rev. Leo Westbrook officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are sons, Dewey Weldon of Many, Andrew Weldon of
Florien, A. G. Weldon of Shreveport; stepson, Louis Strickland of
Plainview; daughter, Mrs. Millie Snell of Houston; stepdaughters,
Mrs. J. W. Daniels of Plainview, Mrs. Olla Merritt of Shreveport,
Mrs. Barbara Caswell of Anacoco; 16 grandchildren; 16 great
grandchildren.
