Williams Jackson Leonard Williams, 84, of Mitchell, died Monday, Jan. 4, in Anaheim, Calif., while visiting his daughter. Funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan 8, in the Mitchell Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jim Constable officiating, assisted by Rev. Terry Brown. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church, and the Mitchell Masonic Lodge. He was a native of Sabine Parish. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Delle Williams of Mitchell; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Pattison of Sulpher, Mrs. Marjorie Brown of Mitchell, and Mrs. Glenn Pillar of Anaheim; two sisters, Miss Lena Willaims of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Ona Grahan of Shreveport; three brothers, Jim Williams of Monticello, Ark., Grady Williams of Alexandria, and Jethro Williams of Mitchell; and 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
