Lester Williams

  Services for Lester Williams, 55, of Shreveport, will be held today,
in the Roseneath Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in
the Forest Park West.

  Mr. Williams died Tuesday at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Many, he was a Shreveport resident 38 years, a retired welder,
and a Baptist.

  Survivors include four sons, Lester Ray Williams of Blanchard, Jimmy
Ernest Williams of Waskom, Charles Delbert, and William Eugene Williams,
both of Shreveport; a daughter, Carolyn Marie Williams of Shreveport;
four sisters, Mrs. Ira Sandel of Plainview; Mrs. Thomas Geogahagan of
Many; Mrs. W. B. Matthews of Shreveport, and Mrs. William Taylor of
Gilbert Town, Ala.; a brother, B. J. Williams of Shreveport; and seven
grandchildren.
