Mrs. Truitt Williams, Sr.

  Mrs. Truitt Williams Sr., 71, of Florien, died near Many
Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 5 p.m., as the result of an automobile
accident.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m.,
at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Earl Marr,
and the Rev. Phillip Tisdale officiating. Interment was in
the Mount Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Honorary pallbearers were Obie Chandler, Rufus Corley,
Jessie Miller, Bobby Chandler, Billy Ray Skinner, and
Monroe Skinner. Pallbearers were Harold Cook, David Young,
David Leach, Darrin Leach, Garland Leach, and Burr Wall.

  Survivors were one son, T. H. Williams, Jr. of Florien,
one daughter; Mrs. Hoyt Gandy of Kelly, two brothers;
George Addison of Florien, Sherman Addison of Many, two
sisters; Mrs. Clara Skinner of Many, and Mrs. Exie Leach
of Shreveport, and 4 grandchildren.
