The Sabine Index - B. L. Williams

  8 Feb 1957 - Funeral services for B. L. Williams, 84, who died
Thursday, Jan. 31 at his home in Florien after an extended
illness was conducted at Florien Baptist church at 2:30 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 1 with Rev. John W. Reynaud officiating assisted by
Rev. B. T. Serivner. Interment was in Antioch cemetery under the
direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are sons, Gordon Williams of Florien, Merald Williams
of Greensville, S. C.; daughters, Mrs. Louis Lefkovits of Zwolle,
Mrs. Amos McLanahan and Miss Lovie Williams, both of Florien;
brothers, L. L. and E. L. Williams both of Florien, W. B.
Williams of Natchitoches, R. L. Williams of Shreveport; sisters,
Mrs. Joe Dover of Florien, Mrs. W. E. Leach of Houston, Texas;
step-mother, Mrs. J. H. Williams of Florien; half-brothers, V. B.
Williams of Port Arthur, Tex., T. J. Williams of Oberlin, La.;
half-sister, Mrs. Bessie Curtis of Florien; 9 grandchildren, 9
great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Marian Dover, Max Dover, Heyward Williams,
Curtis Williams, Herbert Williams and Cecil Williams.
