The Sabine Index - Mrs. Sarah Lee Williams

  18 Aug 1944 - Last rites for Mrs. Sarah Lee Williams, age 88
years, were held 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Oak Grove, Rev. S. J.
Jones officiated, assisted by Rev. Price and Rev. Holliday.

  Surviving are: ten sons, Julius E. and John of Coushatta,
Jesse, Jack, Grady and Jethrae of Mitchell, Jerry of Marthaville,
Jefferson of Pleasant Hill, James of Collins, Ark., Jasper of
Woodworth; two daughters, Miss Lena Williams of Los Angeles,
Calif., Mrs. Oma Graham of Converse; 49 grandchildren and 45
great-grandchildren.

  Mrs. Williams was a life-long member of Oak Grove
Baptist church.
