All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Rodney Williamson Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 2, in Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Bossier Chapel, for Rodney Reeves Williamson, 48, of Bossier City. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Williamson died at 3 a.m., Sunday, April 1, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, after a long illness. The Shreveport native had lived in Bossier City for five years. He was a truck driver for Great Western Truck Lines, a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mertie E. Williamson of Bossier City; a stepson, Ronald Wynne of Bossier City; a daughter, Sandra Malone of Memphis, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Linda Champion of Zwolle; and four grandchildren. Officiating for the service was the Rev. Joe Adams, pastor of Liberty Tabernacle.
