The Rev. C. A. Lilly, church pastor, officiated. Burial was in the New Jerusalem Cemetery, under the direction of Winnfield Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Pallbearers were sons and grandsons. Mr. Williams died at 4:15 a.m., Saturday, March 21, at his home. He was 79. He was a deacon of the Bright Star Baptist Church, and was a part of the church's organization in 1918. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Allie Ann Williams, 8 children, Mrs. Judie Mae Maxie, Port Arthur, Tex., Mr. Rosa Fisher Williams, Natchitoches, Mr. Walter Perry Williams, Florien, Mr. Crit Arthur Williams, Pacoima, Calif., Mrs. Pearlie Ann Smith, and Issac Daniel Williams, both of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Sally M. Maxie, Florien; two sisters; 33 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three aunts; one uncle, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
