Claude Denman Williams

  Services were held for Mr. Claude Denman Williams, 53, of
Florien, at 2 p.m., Monday, October 18, at the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Koelemay officiated. Interment
was in the Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  He died Saturday, October 16, in Schumpert Hospital, Shreveport,
after a brief illness.

  Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Jo Ella Williams, Florien;
one son, Gregory Denman Williams, Florien; one brother, J. H.
Williams, Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mamie Grace Smith,
Brookhaven, Miss., Loyce Moore, Jackson, Miss., Nila Faye Durr,
Natchez, Miss.; his mother, Mrs. Nettie Lou Williams, Brookhaven,
Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
