Williams Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Williams of many, were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Church on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Ray Spiller, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were E. L. Edwards Jr., John Alan Williams, John Samuel Baird, Thomas F. Phillips, Leonard Abington, Charles H. Kirkland III, Kennedy L. Kirkland, and Georg Joe Boyens. Mrs. Williams died at 10:15 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 30, following a short illness. She was 65. Survivors include her husband, O. E. Walker; two nephews, Jefferey Walker of Darien, Conn., and Michael Walker of New Orleans; a niece, Mrs. Patricia Schuete of New York City; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Muriel of Darien, Conn.; and a host of friends. A member of the First United Methodist Church, Mrs. Williams was active in community affairs. She was a charter member of the Many Pilot Club, and was still active.
