Burial was in Vivian Cemetery. He died Thursday, March 17, 1983, at his residence, following a brief illness. Mr. Williams was a native of Louisville, Ark., and a resident of Vivian for the past 20 years. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, and a member of Trees Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Manzine Williams of Vivian; two sons, Earl Dale Williams of Converse, and Fay A. Williams of Trees; one daughter, Dorothy Jean Byerley of Vivian; two sisters, Bessie Pratt of Canfield, Ark., and Gracie Mae Wooten of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Jay D. Williams of Fouke, Ark., and Jodie Williams of Oil City; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
