Dr. Fred Lowery, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bossier, officiated. Burial was at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Mrs. Williams died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1987, in Shreveport, after a short illness. She had been a resident of Bossier City, since 1965, and was retired as a registered nurse. Mrs. Williams had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Bossier City, since 1965. She was born in Negreet, La. She is survived by her husband, Winfred Williams of Bossier City; two sons, James Q. Williams of Beaumont, Texas, and Roland W. Williams of Bossier City; one daughter, Wanda Lea Williams of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Mildred Wright of Negreet, and Emma Delano of Gainesville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Christopher Williams of Beaumont, Texas, Michael Williams of Austin, Stacey Lynn Williams of Monroe, and Jason Williams of Beaumont; one brother, Clyde Anthony of Negreet, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jake Cameron, Jay Sherman, L. B. Miller, Claude Martin, Nat Cole, and J. C. Hildebrand.
