Joseph Coy Williams

  Funeral services for Joseph Coy Williams, were held at 2 p.m.,
Monday, April 1, in the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev.
Glen Cooley officiating. Burial followed in the Self Cemetery in
Hornbeck, under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home of
Leesville.

  Mr. Williams, 68, of Hornbeck, died at 12:32 p.m., Friday, in
the St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

  Mr. Williams was a native of Hornbeck, and an Army Air Force
veteran of World War II, and was a retired maintenance foreman
with South Western Electric Power Company of Shreveport.

  Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leverne P. Williams
of Hornbeck; two sons, Joseph C. "Joey" Williams Jr. of Hornbeck,
and Thomas Wayne "Tommy" Williams of Bossier City; one brother,
Huey J. Williams of Leesville; three sisters, Mrs. Velva Vincent
of Hornbeck, Mrs. Elva Redden of Shreveport, and Mrs. Audrey
Grant of Mansfield.
