Glen Cooley officiating. Burial followed in the Self Cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Mr. Williams, 68, of Hornbeck, died at 12:32 p.m., Friday, in the St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Williams was a native of Hornbeck, and an Army Air Force veteran of World War II, and was a retired maintenance foreman with South Western Electric Power Company of Shreveport. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leverne P. Williams of Hornbeck; two sons, Joseph C. "Joey" Williams Jr. of Hornbeck, and Thomas Wayne "Tommy" Williams of Bossier City; one brother, Huey J. Williams of Leesville; three sisters, Mrs. Velva Vincent of Hornbeck, Mrs. Elva Redden of Shreveport, and Mrs. Audrey Grant of Mansfield.
