Williams) Mrs. Catherine Pace Williams died Sunday, July 3, 1994, at Midway Manor Nursing Home in Shreveport. Mrs. Williams was born on September 26, 1907, in Many. She was married in 1929, to Herald J. Williams, by the Reverend J. M. Pate. She was the daughter of Isahm Lee Pace of Newton County, Mississippi, and Effie Barbee Pace of Natchitoches Parish. She attended Mansfield Female College, and was a graduate of Northwestern State University. She was a member of the Sabine Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She taught school in Many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herald J. Williams; a son, Sidney Lee Williams; and a grandson, Robert Vaughn. She is survived by one daughter, Catherine Joy Williams Kennedy of England; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sidney Lee Williams of Shreveport; grandchildren, Beth, and Bob Heaton of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Steve Williams of Chevy Chase, Maryland, Cathy, and Jim Clement of Shreveport, and Amy, and Bill Wright of Tampa, Florida.
