G. O. Walker, and Rev. C. M. Avery. Burial was at Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Visitation started at 4 p.m., Thursday, at the Pleasant Hill United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Williams passed away in DeSoto General Hospital of Mansfield, on Aug. 10, 1994. Mr. Williams was born on August 11, 1920, to Melton Marion and Iner Bell Scott Williams, in Zwolle. Survivors are his wife, Verta Williams of Pleasant Hill; one son, James Ray Williams of Mansfield; one daughter, Ann Parker and son-in-law Jack Parker of Mansfield; five stepsons; two stepdaughters; two sisters, Elvie Weathley of Wichita, Kansas, and Helen Hutto of Mena, Arkansas; two brothers, Luther Williams of Coushatta, and Thomas Williams of Winnfield; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
