  Funeral services for LeRoy D. Williams, 40, were held on
December 14, at Cobb's Funeral Home in Pontiac, Mich.

  Pastor Jerome I. Johns officiated. Interment was in Oak Hill
Cemetery, under the direction of Cobb's Funeral Home, Pontiac,
Mich.

  Roy passed away on December 8, 1994, in Pontiac, Michigan, at
Oakland Medical center.

  LeRoy DeMars Williams (Roy Midnight Hawk) was born on April 9,
1954, in Shreveport, to the late Willie Williams and Cleo
Williams Scott.

  Roy joined the church at an early age. He received his schooling
in Louisiana, and later pursued further educational and technical
training through the Job Corp.

  Prior to driving for Smart Transportation for the past 18 years,
Roy traveled the highways and byways as a skilled truck driver.
As a member of Pontiac Travelers Van Club, he participated in
community development, played pool, and traveled for leisure.

  He married Anita Sibley, and to this union were born Dalerra D.
Williams, and LeRondya D. Williams, both of Philadelphia, Pa.;
son, LeRoy Wilson of New Jersey; Guardian of Shaun B. Williams of
Fort Hood, Tex. With his marriage to Dorothy O. Williams in 1883,
he took to his own, Dene L. Williams, and Denaryle I. Williams;
his mother and stepfather, Cleo Williams Scott and Fred Scott of
Zwolle; and his ten brothers and sister, Roy Milton Williams,
Sheila A. Richard, and James Williams, all of Houston, Emma J.
Williams of Detroit, Mich., Delmar O. Derry of Irving, Tex.,
Robert J. Williams of Natchitoches, Willie Williams of Wichita,
Kan., Donald R. Thomas, Perline Thomas, and Diane Thomas of
Wooster, Ohio; two special grandchildren, Secara S. Williams, and
Deiner R. Williams; and a second mother, Lanetta Hubbard.
