Mr. Gaddis L. Williams

  Funeral services were held for Mr. Gaddis L. Williams of
Converse, on May 14, at 2 p.m., at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in
Mansfield. Rev. Vernon Stephens, pastor of Toledo Bend Church,
officiated, and Rev. Robert E. Hannigan, pastor of San Patricio
Baptist Church, assisted. Mr. Williams was 86.

  Survivors include his widow, Marguerite Williams of Converse; 2
sons, Gerald Williams of Converse, and Willie Ray Williams of
Dayton, Tex.; daughter, Maxine Lynell Springer of Converse;
brother, Ireland Williams of Converse; sister, Faye Auger of Oak
Grove; and 8 grandchildren, Carlton Williams, Lorraine Hall,
Traci Williams, Nelson, Jennifer, Jessica, and Jonathan Springer,
and Robert A. Wilson Jr.
