Mrs. Ruth Kissick Williamson

  Mrs. Ruth Kissick Williamson died Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Highland
Hospital in Shreveport.

  Services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 10, at
Blanchard-St. Denis Chapel, with interment following at
Marthaville Cemetery. The Rev. Ed Fenton officiated.

  Mrs. Williamson was a retired secretary from Marthaville High
School, and she attended Centenary College in Shreveport.

  Survivors include two daughters, Jayne Johnson Ingram of
Amarillo, Texas, and Suzanne Williamson Foret of Houston, Texas.

  Pallbearers were Bobby Birdwell, Mervin Birdwell, Arden Settle
Jr., Carl Eason, Harold Rains, and Bill Rains.

  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be
made to Marthaville High School Library, or the Marthaville
Volunteer Fire Department.
