Dobie Gillis Williams

  Funeral services for Dobie Gillis Williams, 38, of Many, will be
held Friday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m., at King's Chapel A.M.E. Church.

  Williams died Friday, Jan. 8, at Angola State Penitentiary near
Baton Rouge.

  He will be laid to rest at King's Chapel Cemetery on Louisiana
Avenue in Many.

  Funeral services will be under the direction of Jenkins Funeral
Home of Many. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, from 4
p.m. until 9 p.m., at Jenkins Chapel on Ivanhoe Street.

  Williams was born in Kansas City, Mo., and moved to Many at the
age of five.
