J. M. Williams

  Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 22, for Jessie Monroe
Williams, 89, who died after a short illness, Wednesday, Jan. 20,
in Pleasant Hill. The Rev. J. C. Salley officiated at the 10 a.m.
services, which were held in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Interment was in the Fellowship Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Mrs. J. M. Williams of
Pleasant Hill; one son, A. L. Williams of Moorcroft, Wyoming; two
daughters, Mrs. Jean Clary of Shreveport, and Mrs. Lucille
Brumley of Mitchell; six brothers, J. J. Williams of Monticello,
Ark., Jerry Williams of Shreveport, Grady Williams of Alexandria,
John Williams of Coushatta, Jethro, and Jack Williams of
Mitchell; two sisters, Mrs. Edd Graham of Mitchell, and Miss Lena
Williams of Los Angeles, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
