Herbert O. Williams

  Herbert O. Williams, 64, of Shreveport, died at 11:30 a.m., Aug.
18, at his home, following a brief illness. Funeral services were
held at 10 a.m., Aug. 20, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel.

  The Rev. Kenneth Gibson, pastor of the Parkview Baptist Church,
officiated. Burial was in the Douglas Cemetery in Ruston.

  Williams had lived in Shreveport since 1925. He was an
accountant, a member of the Parkview Baptist Church, the Joppa
Masonic Lodge, and the El Karubah Shrine. He was a native of
Florien.

  Survivors include a brother, H. J. Williams of Many.
