Robert L. Williams

  Funeral services for Robert L. Williams, 84, of 2901 W. Caperton
St., Shreveport, who died at 2:30 a.m., Monday, in a Shreveport
hospital, after a long illness, was held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, in
Queensborough Baptist Church, Shreveport.

  Officiating was the Rev. Charles Lowery, assistant pastor.
Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery, under the direction of
Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

  Mr. Williams was a native of Florien, and a resident of
Shreveport for 39 years. He was a retired KCS railway conductor,
and had been associated with KCS for 43 years. He was a member of
the Order of Railway Conductors, and a deacon of Queensborough
Baptist Church.
