Stanley Claton Winn

  Stanley Clayton Winn, 77, of Marthaville died in his residence on
Saturday, Jan. 10.

  He was a retired driller for Mobile Oil Co. and was a member of the
Masonic Lodge of Pleasant Hill.

  Funeral services were held on Monday Jan 12, at 10 a.m. at the First
Baptist Church in Marthaville, with the Rev. Sammy Giddens officiating.

  Burial was at Springridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.

  Pollbearers were Ricky M. Lambert, Scott Winn, Jerry Roberts, Johnny
Radford, Doug Borbarousse, John Vercher, James Pleasant and James Winn.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Winn, Marthaville, one son,
Don Winn olso of Marthaville, two daughters; Lynda Vercher,
Natchitoches, and Barbara Ruggiero, Baton Rouge, one sister, Mrs. Kate
Smith. Haynesville, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

  He was a native of Haynesville.
