Winn Funeral services for Joseph Alfred Winn, 97, of Shreveport, were held Friday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m., in the Marthaville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ira Peak, pastor of Lakeshore Baptist church officiating. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery. Mr. Winn died Wednesday, Oct. 27, in a Shreveport Hospital. He had been a resident of Shreveport for 16 years, and was a life member of the Robeline Masonic Lodge F&AM. He was born in Marthaville, and was a retired farmer. Survivors include four sons, T. Otis Winn of New Orleans, Leonard T. Winn of Zwolle, Harvey W. Winn of Gladewater, and Curtley R. Winn of Shreveport; a daughter, Mrs. Ida Selby of Tyler; 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
