Edgar Winn

  Edgar Winn, 66, of Marthaville, died in Shreveport, Friday, Oct.
8, at 3:45 p.m., after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m., in the
Marthaville First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mack Alexander
officiating. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Sallie Winn of
Marthaville; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Watkins, Shreveport,
Mrs. Grace Aaron, Natchitoches, Mrs. JoAnn Barnhill, Many, and
Mrs. Ouida Craig of Houston; three sons, Alva J. Dixon,
Greenwood, La., Terry L. Dixon, McDade, La., and Charles R. Dixon
of Shreveport; mother, Mrs. Mae D. Winn of Marthaville; one
brother, Jack Winn of Many, 7 grandchildren, and two great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Van Barnhill, Neal Craig Jr., Gerry Barnhill,
Benny Dixon, Robert Craig, Richard Jones, and Lee Bradford.
